The opening and closing element (ball) of ductile iron ball valve is driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the ball valve. It can also be used for fluid regulation and control, among which the hard sealed V-shaped ball valve has strong shear force between its V-shaped core and the metal valve seat of the welded hard alloy, especially suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, etc.

 

1. Valve products are identified and painted according to the valve body material, with the following colors: gray cast iron, malleable cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, acid resistant steel, and stainless steel alloy steel. The identification paint colors are as follows: black, silver, medium gray, blue, medium blue, acid resistant steel, and stainless steel. No painting is allowed.

 

2. Using the tapping method, ductile iron produces a loud and crisp sound, while cast iron produces a muffled sound.

 

Installation and use of cast iron ball valves:

 

1. Indoor installation or outdoor application with protective measures;

 

2. Outdoor outdoor installations are subject to erosion from wind, sand, rain, dew, sunlight, and other factors;

 

3. It has an environment with flammable, explosive gases or dust;

 

4. Environment in humid and dry tropical regions;

 

5. The temperature of the pipeline medium is above 450 ℃;
